Category: Who-dun-it Mystery dealing with death and forgiveness
Daisies for Katie is a two-act contemporary mystery with a running time of one hour and 45 minutes (including a ten-minute intermission), which makes it ideal for a Friday or Saturday night event, or to replace a midweek service.
Quinn Ward hasn't been himself since his wife left him last New Year's Eve. No longer able to function in his mega-pressure corporate position, he takes on a gardening job at a family-owned cemetery where he grew up playing detective games with the boy and girl who lived there. Quinn is instantly smitten with a mysterious widow he meets on the job and dusts off his amateur sleuth hat to investigate her husband's death. He soon finds himself in over his head when a second death occurs ~ that of his ex-wife, Katie.
